What is Streamr?
Streamr is a decentralized network for real-time data transmission. As the world generates more live data — financial market feeds, IoT sensor readings, weather data, logistics tracking — Streamr provides the infrastructure to route it in a decentralized way. Your Pi acts as an operator node, relaying these real-time data streams across the network.
How it works
Your Streamr operator node relays real-time data streams between publishers (who produce data) and subscribers (who consume it). You stake DATA tokens to become an operator and earn a share of the fees paid by data publishers and subscribers who use streams that flow through your node.
What you earn
You earn DATA tokens for relaying data streams through your node. DATA is the native token of the Streamr network and is tradeable on multiple exchanges including Binance and Coinbase. Earnings depend on the amount of stream traffic routed through your node.
Setup on PiLoader OS
No initial account credentials required, but you will need some DATA tokens to stake as an operator. Setup is managed through the Streamr Hub interface. Note: Streamr is in a transition period — the module is live and earning, but check the PiLoader OS dashboard for current status updates. The module runs as a Docker container managed entirely by PiLoader OS — no command line, no config files, no technical knowledge required.
