What is Minima?
Minima is a blockchain designed from the ground up so that every single user runs a full, validating node. Unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum where full nodes are large server installations, Minima is built to run on a smartphone or Raspberry Pi. This makes the network genuinely decentralized — there are no separate miners or validators with special power.
How it works
Your Pi runs a complete Minima node that participates in the blockchain's consensus, validates transactions, and maintains a full copy of the chain. The Minima protocol is designed to be extremely lightweight so that it fits within the RAM and storage constraints of a Pi.

Minima is primarily a network participation play rather than an immediate USD earner. Running a node gives you access to the MiniDapp ecosystem — decentralized applications built on the Minima network. Minima has distributed rewards to long-running node operators historically.
