What is Bitping?
Bitping operates a distributed network of monitoring nodes that businesses and developers use to test website uptime, latency, and performance from real residential internet connections around the world. Your Pi becomes part of this monitoring network, running lightweight tests on demand.
How it works
Your device periodically runs network performance tests — checking response times, availability, and connection quality — from your real home internet connection. This data is valuable to companies who need to know how their services perform for real users in real locations, not just from data centers. Your node can also share bandwidth: Bitping routes customers' internet traffic through your connection as a proxy, and that work is paid by the amount of data carried.
What you earn
Earnings are paid in Solana (SOL). Your rewards depend on how many tests your node completes, how much proxy traffic it carries, and your connection quality. Bitping is one of the lightest modules in PiLoader OS — it uses minimal resources and runs silently in the background.
